I don't get where you are coming up with it is the six sigma of prescribing and that six sigma means it is the safest.

I had a doctor who taught a class for me. He absolutely hated prescribing blood to patients because he knew the effects that could occur. But yes blood does save lives but it still has inherent risks to it. Even administering oxygen to patients, are risky. You don't give a high concentration of oxygen to a COPD patient, because that is more dangerous than if you allow their PO2 levels to drop a little.

Blood transfusions certainly do save lives. But you cannot say it is not without risk. Blood banks and hospitals have greatly reduced the risk of infectious diseases being transmitted, so I don't mean to say that is part of the risk. But there are other risks including fluid overload, ARDS, cross match issues and rejection of your body of the transfusion which could cause anemia. Even the most basic of all medical procedures will have inherent risks to it.

Skinned and Thrown About.....
by Tech49 inthis is a little long, but stick with me.. if you recall, when the building work was in full swing at the new lakefront villa (warwick), wt was having workers come and they would put them up for a year, or more, while they were providing "volunteer services".
with that, and the impending need for hundreds and hundreds of new khs in the usa territory, the congregations were abuzz with the need for "continued construction volunteers".
recently, as many of you know, wt headquarters has sent pretty much everyone home, and is no longer needing workers at the new warwick site, as the building is mostly complete, with the dedication coming up later this year.

Honestly you did just gloss over an important part. That Watchtower told them not to put all their eggs in one basket. Both couples and in fact all bethelietes have known for the last gosh 12 years that bethel is no longer the place you grow old and die at. There are some older ones that are taken care of but this is no longer a permanent assignment, you have to prepare yourself to leave at any point. Many take advantage of the skills they learn at Bethel either in construction or something else. But now Watchtower is really telling new bethelites or people in special full time service that this isn't a permanent assignment anymore.

And orphan crow. The court has had about 4 months to reject the appeal. And the court has places it on their docket. They also have granted an extension for the initial brief. These are all indications that the court will not reject at least hearing it. And if the court does reject hearing it, then the sanctions clock would pick back up.

Hysteria may not have been the best word to use. But if you don't think there aren't some false accusations you are foolish. Again I never said it is common and it maybe only a few but it does happen. -

We will see what the appeals court will have to say. If anyone is interested there are 4 law libraries in California, who has a database to appeals court briefs. I know one is at the LA law library, but currently the website says their online database is down and it been saying that for a while, so if you are in LA you can stop by or you can ask the reference librarian if they know what is the other law libraries that do it online.

I am sure some do do that because they want to cash in on the hysteria or because they want to get back at someone or Watchtower. But is that a lot of people, I really doubt it.

That is what the 4th discrict of the California appeals court has ruled. That is why, in the Lopez case the terminating sactions were reversed and was remanded back to the trial court with instructions. The court ruled that loach is not a manager, member of the board or have any legal authority over Watchtower and Watchtower has no authority over him. -

The question maybe, and the appeals court brought this up, is does the code require a sanction of 4000 and therefore under the 5000 threshold. Or does the code allow for a cumlitave total that is over 5000. The court made that response when Watchtower first appealed and they allowed Watchtower to respond and the accepted the response. The case has been docketed and Watchtower initial briefs are due in February.
